was originally created to promote a tribute concert and show dedicated to the music of Joe Cocker, as well as the incredible and timeless song by Dave Mason.

Together with drummers Bobby Vandell and Scott Sansby, Mick Sterling put together a fantastic fourteen piece band of incredible Twin Cities musicians to pay tribute to Joe’s music (primarily the Mad Dogs & Englishmen Band).  The title of Dave Mason’s classic song was chosen as the name and focus of the tribute show.  In 2015, the band played 3 sold out theater shows that ended with dozens of musicians on stage and scores of fans dancing in the isles.  Everyone had so much fun that the band intends to perform occasionally as schedules permit.  Check out the SCHEDULE section above for upcoming dates and info.

From the beginning, it was clear that the phrase “Feelin’ Alright” was much more inclusive than just a song or a show. With that in mind, we hope that this website might evolve in multiple directions and perhaps serve as an umbrella for other ideas, concepts, music, and products that fall under the category of these powerful words.

Hi, Thanks for your interest. I have t-shirts available in ladies M-XL, and men’s/unisex SM-XXXL. The shirts are are black with white ink. They sell for $20/each plus shipping (approx $5-$7 per shirt). Alternatively, I can bring one to one of my gigs. I play every Friday 9-12 at The Troubadour Wine Bar on Hennepin in Uptown, Minneapolis, and every Saturday 7-10 at Cafe Latté in Victoria Crossing (Grand & Victoria) in St. Paul.
Email me directly at scottsansby@mac.com, and we will figure out a way to get you one. Thanks. Scott
